In many industries there is a trend to move construction within manufacturing; at KTS we fully support this trend, by delivering much more than just Heat Exchangers.
We team up with customers and partners to understand the process expectations, and to co-develop the final solution, for the design, the engineering and the manufacturing.
We can deliver modular skids that can be assembled on site, significantly reducing the on site construction constraints.
Besides our Heat Exchangers, we can include piping, pumps, valves, power, controls, lighting, structure, and many more system components as part of the KTS Integrated and Engineered solutions.
We provide more than just Heat Exchangers.

DESIGNS & SOLUTIONS
When we are asked to provide a certain quotation and to design a heat exchanger for a given application or process, we perform the design based on a data sheet that we get from our customers.
At KTS, however, we don’t stop there: while many other companies just adapt existing heat exchanger technologies to the data sheet and they repeat this position by position, data sheet by data sheet and HX by HX, with a kind of micro-approach – we critically check the full duty, and the process scope of the customer, beyond the single data sheets.
By doing that, we optimise the heat balance, and provide a perfectly tailored solution, fitting to the requirements.
This is what makes KTS’ approach unique, and able to grant that for a given project, for a given application and for a given process, we shall build the perfectly matching solution.
We don’t adapt technologies to requirements: we design tailored solutions.

At KTS we have one of the most comprehensive technologies portfolio for Heat Transfer technologies.
We serve the whole world and an impressive quantity of industries, in each of which we tackle many different applications. This experience is what we then re-apply for each and every requirement, regularly crossing the traditional boundaries of product and technology landscape.
It can be the case, that more than one thermal technology is required to best suit an application, and in these cases, we will often combine product lines and technology to find the perfectly fitting solution. Our target is to engineer the optimised solution to meet customer expectations, sharing our experience and knowledge is what we take pride in.

Fuel Cell Energy’s tri-generation power plant
The 2.3-megawatt project will generate and supply :
100% renewable power,
Produce approximately 1,200 kg of hydrogen per day
It will be use to fuel vehicles at the site
It will produce enough water to wash 42,000 cars a year.
KTS supplied a multi-product solution, assembled and designed
in Opole, Poland with strong support and collaboration with sites
in Bochum, Germany, and Catoosa in the US, to provide heat recovery and heating/cooling.
This is an example of how KTS is supporting the hydrogen market
in the drive for cleaner energy. But there are other possibilities that require more flexible product approach, flexibility is second nature at KTS.
